Job Description – SEO Executive

📍 Location :  Bangalore

Role Overview

We’re seeking an SEO Executive with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in the D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) ecosystem. You will be responsible for driving organic visibility, improving search rankings, and optimizing content across platforms to fuel growth in a highly competitive fashion landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on-page & off-page SEO strategies to boost organic traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap audits.
  • Optimize website content, product pages, blogs, and landing pages for search engines.
  • Manage technical SEO aspects including site audits, crawlability, and indexing.
  • Work closely with the content and marketing teams to align SEO with campaigns.
  • Track, analyze, and report performance metrics (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Stay updated with latest SEO, Google algorithm changes, and D2C marketing trends.
  • Optimize brand visibility within AI search results (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.) through structured content, FAQs, and schema.
  • Develop strategies to ensure Campus Sutra appears in AI-generated answers by aligning content with conversational and intent-driven queries.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of proven SEO experience, preferably in the fashion, lifestyle, or D2C industry.
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, Search Console).
  • Solid knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Experience in optimizing Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of emerging AI Result Optimization (AI-RO) practices alongside traditional SEO.
  • Ability to craft and structure content to improve inclusion in GPT / AI-powered search responses.
