Associate Senior Electrical Engineer - Commercial - GFS

Job description

As an Associate Senior Electrical Engineer, you will :

• Design electrical systems / equipment to provide a useful and safe environment for the Global Facilities services in accordance with the clients requirements for reliability and uptime
• Advise clients regarding electrical systems / requirements available to meet their needs and comply with all applicable codes
• Monitor installation of designed equipment / systems to ensure compliance with design documents
• Conduct fault studies, arch flash, harmonic analysis, motor starting and load flow analysis
• Develop design criteria for protective device coordination, relay selection, medium voltage transformers, switchgear, medium and low voltage distribution
• Perform independent design calculations for electrical equipment like transformers, DG sets, cables (HV &LV), lighting, grounding, AC / DC UPS, NGR and capacitor sizing
• Develop and / or lead the design of electrical master plans for facilities encompassing but not limited to the following : reliable power distribution, motor control centers, energy efficient lighting systems, communications and telecom routing, instrumentation and controls for HVAC systems, firealarm interface, building level uninterrupted power systems (UPS)
