Regional HR Head

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Regional HR Head to oversee all Human Resources functions within a designated region of operations. This critical leadership role involves strategic planning, talent management, employee development, and ensuring comprehensive compliance with employment laws and regulations. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving organizational effectiveness and performance within the region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Planning & Collaboration

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that are fully aligned with the company’s overall objectives and growth plans.
  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders in driving organizational effectiveness and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support broader organizational goals and initiatives.

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Lead the entire recruitment process for the region, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for various positions.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure recruitment is both timely and effective

    • Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster positive employee relations by fairly and promptly addressing grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues.
  • Implement strategies designed to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction across the region.

    • Performance Management & Development

  • Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate goal-setting processes.
  • Identify regional training needs and coordinate programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.

    • HR Compliance & Risk Mitigation

  • Ensure absolute compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Stay current on legal developments and industry best practices to mitigate risks and maintain a positive work environment.

    • HR Metrics and Reporting

  • Collect and analyze HR data to track key metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and workforce demographics.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to inform crucial decision-making.

    • Candidate Qualifications :

  • A Postgraduate or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in HR leadership roles.
  • Experience is preferably in the Ecommerce, Retail, FMCG, Logistics, or SCM industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of core HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to effectively manage and develop an HR team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
