Position Overview :

The Manager, Events and Activation will lead the planning and execution of high-profile events and activation's across the automotive, FMCG, and wellness sectors.
With 8-10 years of industry experience, including 6-8 years dedicated to events and activation, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in event strategy, creative execution, and vendor management.
This role is crucial for driving brand engagement and delivering exceptional experiences that resonate with target audiences.
Key Responsibilities :
Event and Activation Management :
- Plan, design, and execute a diverse range of events and brand activation, including product launches, experiential marketing campaigns, roadshows, and sponsorship activation.
- Lead the development of event concepts and creative strategies that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Oversee the end-to-end event life cycle, from ideation and planning to execution and post-event evaluation.
Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination :
Leverage a strong network of vendors, including designers, execution teams, and artist managers, to ensure high-quality delivery of event elements.Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the procurement of services and materials within budget.Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless coordination and communication.Presentation and Proposal Development :
Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate event concepts, strategies, and budgets.Guide and mentor team members in crafting visually appealing and impact presentations for client pitches and internal reviews.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate innovative ideas into proposals.Hands-on Execution and On-site Management :
Lead on-site event management, ensuring all aspects of production and execution are delivered to the highest standard.Manage event staff and volunteers, coordinate logistics, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during events.Maintain a strong focus on audience engagement and satisfaction, adapting activation in real-time as needed.Client and Agency Collaboration :
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and agency teams, ensuring alignment on event objectives and deliverables.Work closely with creative, production, and digital teams to integrate cohesive event strategies that drive brand impact and ROI.Post-Event Analysis and Reporting :
Conduct post-event debriefs and evaluations to assess performance against objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, including engagement metrics, budget adherence, and overall effectiveness.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance future events and Experience : 8-10 years of total experience, with 6-8 years specifically in events and activation, ideally within the automotive, FMCG, or wellness sectors.Industry Expertise : Demonstrated experience working on the agency side, with no client-side experience required.Education : Bachelors degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.Vendor Network : Established relationships with a diverse vendor base, including design studios, production houses, and artist management agencies.Technical Skills : Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote), event management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.Preferred Skills :
Proven track record of successful event management within the automotive, FMCG, and wellness industries.Strong creative vision with the ability to translate concepts into engaging, experiential events.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key Competencies :
