Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead the human resources function in our solar energy company. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in building a strong organizational culture, managing talent acquisition, ensuring compliance, and aligning HR practices with the strategic goals of a fast-growing renewable energy business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent across technical (solar engineers, project managers, O&M teams) and non-technical roles.
Collaborate with department heads to forecast manpower requirements for solar projects, EPC, operations, and corporate functions.
Build partnerships with universities, training institutes, and renewable energy associations to source skilled talent.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Foster a positive, performance-driven, and inclusive work environment.
Design and implement employee engagement programs suited for both office and field / project site teams.
Address employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters with fairness and transparency.
3. Learning & Development
Assess training needs and implement programs for technical upskilling (solar technology, HSE, project management) and soft skills development.
Develop leadership development initiatives to prepare high-potential employees for managerial roles.
4. Performance Management
Drive performance appraisal systems that align individual goals with company objectives.
Guide managers in setting clear KPIs for project and corporate staff.
Reward and recognize high performers to boost retention.
5. Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, factories act, shops & establishment rules, POSH Act, and renewable energy sector regulations.
Draft, update, and communicate HR policies, employee handbooks, and site-specific guidelines.
Maintain proper documentation for audits, certifications, and statutory requirements.
6. Compensation & Benefits
Develop competitive compensation structures aligned with industry benchmarks in the solar sector.
Manage payroll, benefits administration, and statutory contributions (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
Introduce retention strategies, incentives, and site allowances for field employees.
7. HR Operations & Technology
Implement HRMS for seamless HR operations including attendance, leave, and employee records.
Maintain accurate workforce data for reporting and decision-making.
Drive automation in HR processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in renewable energy, power, EPC, or manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices in India.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
Proven ability to work with multi-location teams (corporate office + project sites).
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a problem-solving mindset.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills Graduate or Diploma in Engineering / Science / Commerce / Management (preferred). 1–3 years of experience in Sales / Business Development (Solar / Renewable sector preferred, freshers with strong drive may also apply). Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English. Good presentation and negotiation skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, CRM tools). Willingness to travel within the region. Possesses own vehicle, smartphone and Laptop (optional).
