Chief Engineer

To monitor and optimise the technical and operational performance of global vessel fleets through a digital vessel-performance platform.

This role requires strong expertise in vessel performance management, marine operations, regulatory compliance, and client engagement, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed performance evaluations covering emissions, fuel efficiency, speed profiles, engine utilisation, and weather-based voyage optimisation.
• Work closely with clients to deliver actionable insights, performance improvement plans, and technical guidance.
• Lead client discussions on vessel performance, voyage planning, charter party compliance, and emissions-reduction initiatives.
• Review and maintain technical documentation, including EEDI / EEXI, NOx, SEEMP, and related compliance records.
• Prepare and present dashboards, monthly performance reports, and benchmarking studies across fleets.
• Support onboarding of new vessels, system configuration, and data integration with client environments.
