Founding Sales Strategist - TabTech
Location : Remote (India) | Type : Full-time
Compensation : ₹30,000 / month base + 10% commission on closed deals
Realistic OTE : ₹60,000-₹1,00,000 / month after ramp-up
The Opportunity
TabTech isn't looking for someone to "just execute" a sales playbook. We're looking for someone to build it with us from scratch .
We've got the foundation :
Product-market fit with funded startups (clients include GenxPV, Wolken Software)
Clear ideal client profile (seed / Series A founders, $10K-$100K MRR)
Strong positioning and brand understanding
Proven ability to close deals
What we're missing : A repeatable, scalable sales engine that doesn't depend on the founder's network.
That's where you come in.
What This Role Actually Is
You'll sit with the founder (me) to architect our entire sales strategy, then build and execute it yourself. You're not joining a machine—you're building the machine.
This means :
Debating which segments to target and why
Designing our outbound motion (email sequences, LinkedIn strategy, timing)
Creating messaging frameworks that convert founders
Testing, iterating, and documenting what works
Executing campaigns personally while building the playbook
Eventually making yourself scalable (so we can hire SDRs under you)
This is 40% strategy, 60% execution. You'll be in Google Docs with me on Monday architecting the approach, then in Apollo.io on Tuesday sending personalized emails.
What You'll Own
Strategic Responsibilities (Your Brain) Co-create our sales strategy with the founder through weekly sessions
Design our ideal client segmentation beyond "funded startups" (which verticals? which stage? which geography?)
Build our messaging framework and positioning for different segments
Create our outbound playbook (channels, sequences, personalization strategy)
Define what "good" looks like (metrics, qualification criteria, success benchmarks)
Identify market opportunities we're currently missing
Execution Responsibilities (Your Hands) Execute outbound campaigns personally (email + LinkedIn primary channels)
Research and build targeted lists of qualified startup founders
Write compelling, personalized outreach (not generic templates)
Qualify inbound leads from website and content
Run discovery calls and close deals (you own the full sales cycle)
Build sales collateral, case studies, and email templates
Manage pipeline in Apollo.io and report on metrics
Document everything so we can scale
You're Perfect For This If ✅ Experience & Skills :
1-2 years in B2B sales (agency, SaaS, consulting, or startup)
You've done outbound sales or business development before
You can write compelling copy (cold emails, LinkedIn messages)
Comfortable with sales tools (Apollo.io, LinkedIn, CRMs, email automation)
Startup experience strongly preferred (you understand founder psychology)

Compensation
₹30,000 / month base + 10% commission on each deal closed
Average ticket size : $3,000-$5,000 USD (₹2.5L-₹4.2L)
Example earnings :
Close 1 deal / month @ ₹3.5L = ₹30K base + ₹35K commission = ₹65K total
Close 3 deals / month @ ₹3.5L = ₹30K base + ₹1.05L commission = ₹1.35L total
