Job description

Job Title : Assistant Controller / Controllership Executive

Qualification : CA Qualified

Department : Finance & Accounts Experience

Required : 2 to 4 Years

Location : Bangalore

Employment Type : Full-time

Job Summary : We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our finance team in a controllership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting, with hands-on experience in month-end close, general ledger management, and internal controls. This position will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial records, compliance with regulations, and support for business decision-making. Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform and manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP)
  • Assist in audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and liaise with external auditors
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy Qualifications & Skills :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA / CPA / CMA is a plus)
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in controllership, accounting, or financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
