Overview :
The Equity Dealer will be responsible for executing trades in equity markets on behalf of clients and
the firm, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maximizing trading efficiency and
profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market dynamics, excellent
analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Trade Execution : Execute buy and sell orders for equities in accordance with client instructions,
market conditions, and MIFID II trading regulations.
2. Market Analysis : Analyze market trends and economic indicators to inform trading decisions and
provide insightful recommendations to clients.
3. Client Communication : Maintain regular contact with clients to discuss market conditions, trading
strategies, and provide updates on portfolio performance.
4. Cross-Selling : Identify and promote third-party financial products and services to clients,
enhancing their investment portfolios and meeting their broader financial needs.
5. Risk Management : Monitor and manage the risks associated with equity trading, implementing
risk mitigation strategies as necessary.
6. Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions, ensuring compliance
with internal policies and external regulations.
1. Technology Utilization : Utilize trading platforms and financial software to execute trades and
analyze market data effectively.
Qualifications :
2. Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
3. At least 2 years of experience in equity trading or a similar role.
4. Strong understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and financial instruments.
5. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in technical analysis.
6. Ability to thrive under pressure and make rapid decisions.
