Job descriptionPerform code reviews and act as the quality gatekeeper for your SME module. Assist, mentor, and guide junior team members. Enforce code review and test coverage standards to ensure high-quality releases. Ensure no regressions in owned modules. Serve on interview panels to help grow the engineering team and organization. 8+ years of overall software engineering experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails. Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. Solid experience with web services and RESTful APIs. Good understanding of JavaScript dependency management and build tools. Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team. Proficiency with Git / GitHub for version control. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative atmosphere and adapt to evolving user needs.
Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer – SME
