Job descriptionUnderstand the bank's DevOps strategy and implementing automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes. This role requires Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure DevOps infrastructure in AWS and Azure. Understand the bank's software delivery processes and implement solutions in line with the bank's compliance and security requirement. Work collaboratively with a team of diverse engineers in sprint delivery. Produce technical documentation and prepare training materials on the solutions being delivered and provide technical support. Conduct briefing and / or training sessions to application delivery teams to help them get onboarded and accelerate adoption. Understand bank's risk management framework and embed that into the technology solution being delivered. Understand bank's software delivery & quality assurance framework and assist in solutioning in respective governance activity. Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Azure Devops Engineering and Operations Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery. Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and trends to continuously improve the infrastructure. Devops, Secops, CI / CD pipelines, Source control system like git Proficient in any program language (java, node, python) Ansible or puppet or helm Unix, Operating System, Bash or PowerShell Container Technology, Kubernetes Monitoring and Observability Communication & Collaboration Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure). Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI / CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC). Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, Shell, or similar languages. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
