Roles And Responsibilities

  • Successfully onboarding clients and building strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Becoming the internal 'expert' on all things your clients.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the client and us, scheduling and leading weekly meetings, managing ongoing communications, and more – in collaboration with a campaign manager and other internal stakeholders as required.
  • Ensuring delivery of and alignment to enable full documentation of clients' brand guidelines, deliverables, rule sets, and more.
  • Writing and continually optimizing and updating strategic plans, project roadmaps, content calendars, and other deliverables to ensure client buy-in and enable proper execution of client program initiatives.
  • Initiating the work as required with the campaign manager and other internal stakeholders.
  • Synthesizing analytics into ongoing audits and reports to inform changes in strategy and project roadmaps.
  • Providing high-level scope to internal stakeholders for the purpose of brief creation, task assignment and prioritization, and execution and completion of creative assets and other project deliverables.
  • Identifying and resolving churn risk as well as identifying appropriate upsell opportunities involving client program growth across email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging.
  • Ensuring timely renewals of contracts and ongoing client retention.
  • Identifying opportunities for cultivating clients to accept case studies, interviews, reviews, referrals, and industry articles.
  • REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience working as either a brand-side email marketing manager
  • (or similar role) or in a MarTech company or marketing agency role with prior / current responsibilities for strategy, retention, and client growth.

  • Experience working with email service providers, marketing automation platforms, lifecycle marketing platforms, and / or customer data platforms.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral, especially in a business setting. An ability to speak to both technical and non-technical audiences is a major plus.
  • A strategic thinker who can rise to the occasion in championing success for their own teams and their external clients.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to constantly changing deadlines, priorities, and project requirements.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Experience working with a fully remote team, including team members overseas.
  • Experience working with email service providers, marketing automation platforms,
  • lifecycle marketing platforms, and / or customer data platforms.
