We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager to lead and inspire full-stack development teams in building and maintaining a rich portfolio of products and services. You will take ownership of engineering practices, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineers while ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. Accountabilities :
- Lead and manage engineering teams, balancing design, coding, and coaching responsibilities.
- Define and own the target architecture for your domain, ensuring all projects adhere to technical guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions.
- Guide the adoption of engineering best practices across code quality, testing, observability, and documentation.
- Oversee the full software lifecycle from development to production, including risk management and workload prioritization.
- Contribute to Communities of Practice, sharing expertise and establishing best practices across teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning within your teams.
Requirements
10+ years of experience building server-side applications and leading engineering teams.Strong knowledge of backend frameworks (e.g., Spring / Spring Boot) and programming languages relevant to your stack (e.g., Java 8+).Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architectures.Proven ability to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions.Hands-on experience with relational databases, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Familiarity with complex solutions in financial or payment services is a plus.Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating with distributed teams.Benefits
