Job Title : Head Bid Management
Reports to : Senior Director
Job Summary :
Head Bid Management as this Strategic Business Unit must handle only Large Bids, so the incumbent should have the following capabilities to drive this, and as this is an individual contributor role, working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities :
Leading Bid structuring process for SHI Solutions Cloud, IT Infrastructure, and Managed Services Division from a commercial standpoint for Strategic BU Practice.
Responsible for responding to RFPs / RFQs / RFls with a strategic approach towards DC-DR location strategy, technical & OEM recommendations, cost estimations, Commercial construct including Buyback estimations & negotiations for IT Infrastructure.
Perform detailed analysis & summarization of customer inventory for India / Global RFP, understand the scope of Asset Refresh & Buyback, understand the customer's current Asset refresh policy and technology.
Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs and Financial partners to prepare Technical & Financial Solutions for Large Integrated Bids.
Structuring strategic and innovative financial models - Financial Lease, Operational Lease, Consumption-based Models, Net Accounting, Buyback (Sale & Leaseback) of Customer Infrastructure Estate.
Strengthening Partnerships with OEM Alliances like Equinix, Digital Realty, HPE, Dell, Nutanix, Cisco for responding to Large Bid Opportunities & integrating their solutions as part of Customer responses.
Interact with Multiple Stakeholders across Sales, Presales & Practice Teams like Datacentre (COLO, Compute, Storage & Backup), Network, End User to finalize & fine-tune Technical requirements.
Interact with the Solution team, Finance & Taxation teams to build Customer Commercial submission, including the Customer Pricing Template, and Financial Assumption documents.
Standardization of price catalog post discussion with all OEMs to create a benchmark for the organization.
Should have been associated with the Top 10 IT services providers in India, like TCS / Infosys / Cognizant / Capgemini / Wipro, etc.
The minimum deal size of $50 million and above cuts across any verticals.
