Role and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product Team (Product Managers and CEO) to understand update goals and ensure Test Leads meet them.
- Review requirements and builds from a player's perspective; identify nuisances, confusing elements, or areas for improvement.
- Optimize test plans by reviewing team productivity, test cases, and removing inefficiencies; share best practices across games.
- Collaborate with QA Leads to estimate effort for testing activities and scale teams to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Analysts, Delivery teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver quality products.
- Liaise with external partners for resource planning and billing.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing between test teams and develop relevant training programs.
- Monitor daily activities of teams to optimize performance.
Who You Could Be – Background and Experience
12+ years experience in a QC Lead role.Minimum 5 years experience shipping mobile games in a leadership role.Strong understanding of QA stages, tools, and techniques in mobile gaming.Leadership and organizational skills with ability to inspire teams.Experience managing multiple on-site and external test teams.Proven ability to hire, train, and mentor senior team members.Familiarity with Test Case Management software.Understanding of technical and performance requirements for mobile games; able to create test plans to ensure compliance.Experience with automation and load-testing tools / processes for Unity games is a plus.Optional but valuable : Play testing, usability testing, JIRA administration, performance testing, and automation for Unity games.Skills Required
