Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage the technical team responsible for data center operations.

Oversee Wintel environments , including server installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Design, implement, and manage virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Administer and optimize backup processes using Veritas tools.

Manage and maintain EMC storage systems , ensuring efficient and reliable data management.

Provide basic support and understanding of proxy servers and Microsoft Exchange .

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data center strategies .

Ensure adherence to security standards, compliance policies, and best practices .

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

10+ years of experience in data center operations or a related domain.

Strong expertise in Wintel environments and virtualization technologies .

Proficiency in Veritas backup tools and EMC storage solutions .

Basic working knowledge of proxy servers and Microsoft Exchange .

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.

Proven leadership and team management experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills .

Preferred Skills

Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Veritas, EMC ).

Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid environments .

Familiarity with ITIL practices and frameworks
