About the Role
Technical / Functional Skills : SAP FICO with hands on SAP FI & CO and ability to work and learn on Cross module topics including integration with SD, MM, PP, CS, Interfaces, ALE IDOC topics also hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Ability to architect solutions in the SAP Finance & Costing functions by seamlessly integrating with other modules.
- Be able to analyze, design and configure SAP FI, CO and experience and knowledge on R2R, O2C and P2P areas.
- Provide knowledge and understanding of SAP FICO, SD MM concepts and process flows that they are able to both understand existing configuration and solutions and also design new solutions for new requirements.
- Hands-on experience in AR, AP, Asset accounting, LOCKBOX, GRIR Clearing, Cost center, Profit center accounting, COPA, Costing based COPA with thorough understanding of COPA realignments, rebuild, different record types in COPA.
- Clear understanding and hands-on experience in Product costing.
- Exposure and hands-on experience in MTO, MTS and ETO Scenarios.
- Good Excel skills with hands-on on VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP & good analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and drive the meetings with clear action items showcasing result-oriented approach.
- Good communication and articulation skills.
- Providing support, advice and guidance to the customer support team on SAP related issues.
- Knowledge of Solman would be an added advantage.
- Ability to lead the projects and come up with solutions for complex CO and FI related issues.
- Liaising with third party and offshore resources on solution design in accordance with business requirements and producing detailed documented specifications.
- Providing support during UAT testing phases.
- Supporting cutover activities and releases into the Production environment.
- Supporting the customer with future enhancements and value propositions.
- Uses knowledge of business functions and processes, configures and may design products, functionality of software packages and implementation tools and methodology to configure packaged software products to meet business requirements and specifications.
Required Skills
Be an authority in SAP FICO area of specialization and analyze customer requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives while aligning with longer-term strategic roadmaps.Advises business partners on the implications of standard or new SAP solutions that can be applied to a problem.Implements solutions of small to moderate scope with varying complexity by engaging with business process key stakeholders, performing related necessary research, preparing comprehensive documentation, supervising the implementation effort as required, and developing training materials and delivering training classes.The configuration of SAP and the development and execution of test plans.Work to identify process improvements resulting from support issues, with the goal of minimizing recurring support.Develops and maintains project plans as appropriate based on departmental standards.Utilize automated project management tools; defining tasks, effort, and resources necessary to complete assigned projects.Estimates work based on high-level requirements, defines business cases, and determines resource requirements.Must have strong SAP FICO configuration experience.Document and share best practices, templates, and other work products.Collaborates with peers and developers to achieve desired end-results for complex projects or problems by delivering scalable business process solutions.Meets all assignment due dates by coordinating activities, handling multiple assignments, and keeping project supervisor and / or Application Development Manager informed of any circumstance that could prevent completion of an assignment or project on schedule.Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the manager.Evaluate the impact of minor changes to existing business process interfaces, obtain approvals on interface changes, and implement / support the changes.Coordinate implementations with User and Developer resources to ensure a smooth and successful implementation, and support development and testing with users and the SAP Support Team.Understand the capabilities of the FICO modules and its inter-relationships with the other related modules of the SAP ERP environment, including Logistics Execution (LE), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Financials (FI), Materials Management (MM).Understand the capabilities of the CO module and its inter-relationships with the other dependent non-SAP systems, including end to end process.Support the system analysis, design, and programming / configuration for any FICO configuration modifications or custom reporting modifications resulting from changes to existing business processes.
