SAP Solution Architect - FICO Module

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled SAP Solution Architect FICO to lead the design and implementation of Finance and Controlling solutions within SAP landscapes.

The role requires deep expertise in SAP FICO, integration knowledge with other SAP modules and external systems, and strong solutioning skills to align technology with business strategies.

The Solution Architect will be responsible for driving SAP FICO solution architecture, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, and enabling digital transformation initiatives with Responsibilities :

• Lead the solution architecture design for SAP FICO, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and map them into SAP FICO solutions.
• Design end-to-end FICO solutions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Controlling (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders), and Product Costing.
• Drive system blueprinting, solution design, and integration with related SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HCM.
• Provide leadership on finance transformation programs, including ECC to S / 4HANA migrations and greenfield / brownfield implementations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across different geographies.
• Define and enforce solution governance standards, best practices, and reusability principles.
• Provide technical and functional leadership in RFP responses, solution proposals, and pre-sales activities.
• Collaborate with development teams for enhancements, customizations, and integration with third-party systems (e.g., banking, treasury, reporting tools).
• Drive data migration strategy, ensure data integrity, and design reconciliation processes for finance systems.
• Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions for key users and consultants.
• Stay updated on SAP innovations in finance (S / 4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury & Risk Management) and advise clients on and Experience :
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or IT.
• 12+ years of overall SAP experience with at least 8+ years in SAP FICO.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in large-scale SAP FICO implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA Finance, Universal Journal, New GL, and Central Finance.
• Experience in global template design, rollouts, and multi-country implementations.
• Expertise in integration with MM, SD, PP, HCM, and external finance applications.
• Hands-on experience in leading ECC to S / 4HANA transformations.
• Exposure to financial reporting tools (SAP BW / BI, Group Reporting, BPC) is an advantage.
• SAP Certification in FICO or S / 4HANA Finance & Functional Skills :
• Strong understanding of financial closing processes, consolidation, and reporting.
• Expertise in configuring GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling modules.
• Deep knowledge of product costing, profitability analysis, and internal reporting.
• Familiarity with tax, treasury, and cash management processes.
• Knowledge of Fiori apps, CDS views, and embedded analytics in S / 4HANA.
• Ability to design interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and middleware Skills :
