Role & responsibilities
Must Have :
- 4 Years of experience with MS SQL Server database (SQL Server versions 2012 through current), SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA / DR) solutions such as Always On, Distributed Availability Group, Clustering, Log shipping and Replication, etc.
- 2 Years of experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Experience with Database utilities such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS) & SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Experience in supporting complex Development / projects
- Experience in storage engineering and / or data backup engineering, including experience with data replication.

The Individual Contributor should have experience on database design rather than traditional DBA support functions . This means expertise in database management systems with a strong emphasis on design and engineering skills .
The candidate needs to perform physical database management system design and build to support application development teams with application database needs in their development lifecycle along with application support, troubleshooting, performance tuning.The role expects a hybrid skill set : a combination of development skills alongside traditional database administration knowledge. Its not purely a DBA role; candidates should be able to handle database design and development aspects effectively.Experience with database monitoring solutions like Foglight, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios or Zabbix or any other tool can be consideredGood to have Skills :
ITILDatabase management tools like MongoDB Compass, Robo 3T, MongoDB Atlas.
