Power BI Specialist

Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA.

We are supporting a well esteemed client of ours searching for a Power BI Specialist to work on a 12 month renewable contract.

Minimum Experience :

The ideal candidate will have strong experience on the following :

5+ years experience working with MSSQL Server (22 / 19 / 16 / 12)

SQL Server : Database administration, performance tuning & optimisation, troubleshooting, backups

Deep expertise with Business Intelligence & Data analytics solutions such as Power BI, SSIS, SSAS & SSRS

Power BI : Integrations, advanced features, report development

Advanced Analytics : Utilizing Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) to create complex calculations and business logic within cubes.

Cube Development : Designing and developing multidimensional and tabular models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

Strong skills in data modelling, ETL processes, and report development

Proficiency in scripting languages such as T-SQL and PowerShell - having a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
