Job Description – Project Manager (Community Engagement)Position Details

- Punjab / Haryana : Across 8 villages in Punjab and 8 in Haryana (1 position)
- Duration : 2-3 months (December 2025 – March 2026)
- Salary Range : ₹50,000 – ₹75,000 per month (depending on experience)
About the Project
The project focuses on raising awareness about safe migration pathways and preventing visa fraud, with a particular emphasis on migration to the UK.
It involves conducting community engagement sessions across selected villages in Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Haryana to educate potential migrants and their families on reliable migration options and how to avoid fraudulent practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage community engagement sessions in the assigned districts / villages.Tamil Nadu : Coordinate logistics, obtain permissions (for community halls, schools, etc.), ensure participation, and deliver sessions in Tamil.Punjab & Haryana : Lead and facilitate sessions in Punjabi; support coordination and field planning (no logistics responsibilities).Mobilize participants and ensure meaningful engagement during the sessions.Serve as the primary point of contact for the field team.Support the translation of written materials and key messages into local languages.Maintain accurate records, session reports, and feedback documentation.Build and sustain partnerships with local leaders, community organisations, and relevant stakeholders.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Rural Development, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of field or community engagement experience.Proven ability to lead sessions and engage with diverse community groups.Strong organisational, coordination, and reporting skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple on-ground activities.Familiarity with migration, livelihood, or awareness-generation projects is an advantage.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned districts.Language Requirements
Tamil Nadu : Fluency in Tamil (speaking, reading, writing) and working knowledge of English.Punjab / Haryana : Fluency in Punjabi and Hindi, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.Preferred Candidate Profile
Age : 27–35 yearsCandidates based locally in or near the project districts will be preferred.Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with cultural sensitivity.Passionate about community-based development, public engagement, and social impact work.Comfortable with travelWhat You’ll Gain
