Position : Business Development Intern (BDE Intern) — Remote, India. This is a hands-on sales internship designed for early-career candidates who want real quota-facing experience in lead generation, qualification, and pipeline-building for B2B tech offerings.
Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively source and generate qualified leads using LinkedIn, cold email, cold calling, and targeted research.
- Qualify prospects against ICP (industry, size, pain-points) and book discovery meetings for the sales team.
- Maintain and update CRM records (contacts, activities, opportunity stages) to ensure pipeline hygiene and reporting accuracy.
- Execute outreach cadences and iterate messaging based on response rates and feedback from senior BDRs / AEs.
- Prepare concise outreach assets and tailored value propositions for target accounts in coordination with marketing.
- Track outreach metrics (response, meeting conversion, pipeline value) and present weekly progress reports to the sales lead.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (any discipline) and available for a remote internship across Indian working hours.Excellent written and verbal English with clear, professional communication for outreach and calls.Hands-on experience or familiarity with LinkedIn prospecting and basic CRM usage (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple outreach threads concurrently.Preferred
Prior internship or coursework in sales, business development, tele-sales, or customer research.Basic competency with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and sales / email sequencing tools (Mailshake, Lemlist, SalesLoft).Benefits & Culture Highlights
