What You Will Do :
- Develop and maintain IoT gateway firmware to automate irrigation, collect sensor data, and integrate with LoRa sensor nodes.
- Lead and collaborate with the team to build and scale cloud applications on Azure to process, store, and analyze IoT data.
- Implement multi-threading, multiprocessing, caching, and queuing mechanisms to optimize IoT gateway performance in memory-constrained environments.
- Work closely with product, design, and agronomy teams to create user-centric IoT solutions.
- Participate in product discovery, prototyping, and strategy discussions for IoT-driven products.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve IoT systems, from hardware integration to cloud analytics.
Desired Skills & Experience :
3+ years in software development with Python, IoT gateway firmware programming, NoSQL databases (MongoDB & Redis), Microservices, Docker & Kubernetes, and Azure.Hands-on experience writing firmware logic for automation, and real-time sensor data integration.Strong experience with threading, multiprocessing, queuing, caching, and memory-constrained system design.Strong understanding of IoT ecosystems, including hardware-software interactions.Passion for solving user problems and contributing to IoT product strategy.Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Why AgWise ?
