Job Responsibilities

Magna is looking for IOT Developer who will be responsible for developing IT / OT integration solutions to support digitizing of production lines and implementing streaming machine controls.

Major Responsibilities :

• Develop new techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructure.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and gateways with edge hardware.
• Develop and program microcontrollers / sensors.
• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
• Create IoT applications that run on-premises and in the cloud.
• Implement security best practices (TLS, certificate-based auth, OTA firmware updates), manage device provisioning, monitoring, diagnostics, and remote updates.
• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development and delivery.
• Develop KPIs, metrics, and other monitoring tools to track I4.0 production environments.
• Work with source control tools (DevOps, GitHub).
• Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production.
