About out client :

Our client is an Indian fashion brand specializing in ethnic and Indo-Western apparel for women. The brand primarily operates through online channels and offers a diverse portfolio of contemporary and traditional styles.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Prepare financial statements in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

Monitor internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.

Develop and maintain systems for handling financial data and processes.

Assist management with important financial decisions and budgeting.

Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team.

Work closely with other departments to support overall business goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications :

Mandatory qualification as a Chartered Accountant(CA).

4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, ERP systems).

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills :

Experience working in manufacturing, service or retail industry.

Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other relevant regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferably a candidate with business acumen.

Salary Budget for the role is 25 LPA.
