Job Overview
You will be the principal trusted advisor and revenue driver for mutual fund and AIF distribution in your territory, working independently (IC role) to grow our business through deep client relationships and channel development.
Responsibilities
Drawing from industry norms for IC roles in mutual fund distribution :
- Channel Development & Distribution
- Identify, approach, and develop a network of mutual fund distributors, RIAs, banks, brokers, and institutional clients.Leverage your network to maximize reach and execution.
- AIF Product Roll-Out
- Strategize and execute distribution for the recently launched AIF, including outreach to HNIs, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Drive sales through roadshows, partner briefings, and investor presentations.
- Sales Planning & Execution
- Set territory-level targets for AUM / fundraising and deliver them through direct sales and channel partnerships.
- Monitor performance, report results, and refine strategies based on feedback and data.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
- Serve as a domain expert—providing insights on product positioning, investor needs, and market trends.
- Engage partners as a consultative advisor, not just a salesperson.
- Collaboration with Central Teams
- Work closely with marketing, product, and analytics teams to ensure the AIF gets appropriate visibility and that distributor feedback informs strategy.
Preferred Candidate Attributes
Deep knowledge of mutual fund and AIF product structures and compliance.Strong ARN / AMFI certifications and relevant distribution licenses.Proven track record raising funds through distributors or HNIs / family offices.Superior stakeholder management, presentation, and negotiation skills.Self-motivated, strategic thinker, comfortable with autonomy and field-based work.Skills : distributors,aif,sales
