Job description. Oversee planning, scheduling and monitoring of all PMC activities for the project. . Ensure compliance with project milestones, deliverables and contractual requirements. . Lead review and approval of Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), method statements and drawings. . Ensure robust QA / QC implementation and compliance with standards / specifications. . Conduct random reviews of QAP implementation during periodic site visits. . Supervise fabrication and erection works (including foundations, superstructure and deck slab casting). . Ensure works are executed in line with approved drawings and engineering standards. . Monitor site safety, quality and progress. . Coordinate with stakeholders (GLC, STUP, Railways, Fabricators, Contractors). . Review and follow up on approvals of drawings and method statements. . Represent PMC in client and contractor meetings. . Guide Project Engineers and deployed site crew in their day-to-day responsibilities. . Provide direction and resolve escalated technical / site issues. . Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to the client. . Participate in two scheduled visits annually with BV's central team for random review, QAP audit, and progress checks. . Provide recommendations for improvements where required. . Review and approve all material test certificates (Steel, Concrete, Rebar, Geogrid). . Witness random third-party lab testing : aggregates, concrete, soil and cube compressive strength. . Monitor RMC plant process and output for compliance with approved design mix. . Ensure documentation of pour cards, BBS, FDT / PLT reports, QA / QC checklists, DPRs and TPI reports. . Highlight abnormal findings and recommend corrective measures. . Maintain photographic and inspection records for client submission. B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience - Experience in PEB Structures is Mandatory Hands-on expertise in PEB Structures. Knowledge of RCC, RMC and industrial building construction. Strong reporting and documentation skills. Familiarity with SOP-driven quality management systems. Proactive problem-solving and communication skills. Should have good communication skills. Should be able to communicate in Hindi, English, Telugu
Purpose of Position
- The Project Manager will be responsible for site-level quality monitoring, assurance, and compliance across multiple PEB and civil works, including Fabrication of PEB Elements, Erection of PEB Structure, FOB, 2-Level Air Concourse and general civil works. The role involves stage-wise quality checks, witnessing tests, reviewing documentation and ensuring that all works comply with client specifications, SOPs and approved drawings.
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
