Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager with a proven track record of managing teams in Augmented and Managed Services environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SLA / KPI management, customer interfacing, requirements gathering, Agile delivery, and guiding technical teams with solutions. This role demands excellent communication, people management, and presentation skills, along with proficiency in Agile / Scrum methodologies and JIRA for project tracking. Experience in the Education domain will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Delivery Management
- Manage end-to-end delivery for multiple projects in augmented and managed services models.
- Drive SLA and KPI adherence across teams, ensuring timely and quality outcomes.
- Develop and track project plans, timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies using JIRA.
- Conduct Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure Agile best practices are followed.
- Client Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring proactive communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks for delivery teams.
- Conduct regular governance meetings, reporting on performance, risks, and improvement plans.
- Team Leadership & Guidance
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional Agile teams.
- Guide teams in understanding customer requirements and providing scalable solutions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Process & Performance Management
- Establish and enforce best practices for SLA monitoring, escalation handling, and incident resolution.
- Ensure accurate reporting, dashboards, and performance reviews with both internal teams and clients.
- Drive creation and maintenance of SOPs / Runbooks to standardize service delivery.
- Communication & Presentations
- Deliver high-quality presentations to leadership and clients on project status, value additions, and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align on business priorities and solution strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
12+ years of experience in IT services, with strong exposure to Augmented and Managed Services delivery models.Proven experience in SLA and KPI management.Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies with hands-on experience running Agile projects.Proficiency in JIRA (issue tracking, sprint planning, reporting, dashboards).Strong customer-facing skills with ability to interface directly with executive stakeholders.Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and solution guidance.Excellent people management and team leadership abilities.Outstanding communication and presentation skills.Ability and willingness to work in shifts to support global operations.Experience in the Education domain (LMS, CRM, Student Lifecycle systems, etc.) will be an added advantage.Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).PMP / PRINCE2 / ITIL / CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification is a plus.
