The Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) is looking for a motivated Academic Counselor in Pune to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and experience in EdTech sales or student counseling.
As an Academic Counselor, you will provide essential academic counseling and career guidance to prospective students, helping them navigate course offerings, admissions requirements, and career opportunities in the analytics industry. You will be a key part of our admissions team, working closely with students and their families to drive student enrollments and support student retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Counseling : Provide personalized guidance to prospective students on BIA’s academic p rograms, course o ff erings, fees, cu rr icul um , and prer e
quisites.Admi s
sions Assistance : Gui de students through the admis sion process, inc luding application submissions, interviews, and docum ent verification to e nsure a seamless experience.LeadFollow-Up and Conversion : Fol low up with potential leads and inquiries, using lead conversion tech niques to drive stude nt enrollments.Pres entations & Online Counseling : Con duct engaging presentations, online counseling, and face-to-face meetings to explain the features, benefits, and caree r opportunities asso ciated with BIA’s courses.Record Maintenance : Mai ntain accurate records of stude nt counseling sessions, fol low-up actions, and feedback in alignment with data management best practices.Career Counseling : Pro vide career advice on job o pportunities, cer ti fications, and upski lling rele vant to the analytics industry to help students achieve their professional goals.Collaboration : Wor k closely with the marke ting and admissions teams to d rive enrollments, meet stude nt intake targets, and achieve organizational goals.Industry Awareness : Sta y updated on the latest trends in educa tion and analytics to p rovide informed, insightful guidance.Relationship Building : Bui ld positive relationships with students, parents, and educational partners to foster stude nt engagement and r >etention .
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience : Minimum of 1 year in EdTech sal es, academic c ounseling, or a rel ated field.Commu
