Job Description : Independent System Monitoring (ISM) Executive

Location : Mohali, Punjab

Job Type : Full-Time

Reports To : Chief of Independent System Monitoring

About the Role

The CISM Executive will support the Chief of Independent System Monitoring (CISM) in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the Design Organization and its suppliers. This role involves assisting in planning and executing audits, documenting compliance verification, and maintaining records for regulatory reporting. The executive will be actively involved in monitoring corrective actions and supporting the annual audit cycle.

Key Responsibilities

 Assist in planning and scheduling CISM activities, including audits and follow-ups.

 Support the development and use of customized audit checklists for Design Organization and supplier audits.

 Perform assigned audits under the guidance of the CISM.

 Collect, verify, and document compliance evidence and audit findings.

 Monitor and track corrective actions and follow up for timely closure.

 Assist in preparing reports and submitting audit findings to the CISM.

 Maintain records of all CISM activities, including audit plans, reports, and corrective action logs.

 Support preparation of the Annual Audit Plan and related documentation for DGCA submission.

 Escalate any Level One and level two non-compliances as per DOM or critical findings to the CISM.

 Collaborate with Design Organization to ensure process compliance.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

 Experience in auditing, quality assurance, or compliance within aerospace / aviation is preferred.

 Knowledge of DGCA regulations, airworthiness standards, and Design Organization procedures.

 Strong documentation and reporting skills.

 Ability to work effectively under guidance and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

 Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying issues and following through on actions.Preferred Qualifications.

 Exposure to ISO / AS9100 or similar aerospace quality systems.

 Prior experience in audit support, monitoring, or compliance roles.

 Good understanding of supplier audits and corrective action tracking.
