Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Logistics Management
Oversee the planning and execution of outbound shipments.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.Coordinate with transporters and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) for dispatch schedules.Transportation & DistributionOptimize transportation routes and modes to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
Monitor carrier performance and resolve delivery issues.Inventory & Order FulfillmentCollaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
Maintain real-time visibility of inventory levels and outbound order status.Ensure compliance with FIFO and other inventory control practices.Documentation, Compliance & Process OptimizationEnsure all shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, e-way bills, etc.) is accurate and complete.
Comply with regulatory requirements for all shipments.Maintain records for audits and reporting.Use data analytics to monitor KPIs like delivery lead time, cost per shipment, and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance.Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with internal departments such as sales, customer service, and warehouse operations.
Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery schedules and exceptions.Technology & SystemsUtilize SAP and logistics management systems for tracking and reporting.
Takes BI initiatives in logistics operations.Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree ( Technical ), 4–7 years of experience in outbound logistics or transportation management.Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
