Inviting applications for the role of Manager, UK Taxation
Responsibilities
- .Perform and review tax analysis for UK employment taxes like PSA, P11D, STBV and indirect taxes likes EU IPT, Australian GST, Irish IPT
- .Perform and review tax analysis for UK Corporate taxes likes Tax Nominal analysis, UK Corporate return taxable income calculation etc.
- .Review, analyze and adjust UK tax reporting package submissions and ensure key risks and issues relating to tax compliance are identified, detailed, and communicated to the appropriate partners and with management in a timely manner.
- .Prepare tax work papers and perform special projects, ad-hoc reporting and tax analysis as needed.
- .Actively work towards streamlining of the close process & build effective controls and building deep domain depth in the team around taxation for Property & Casualty Insurance Co
- .Eye for details - majorly need to review the work of peers and Understand the changes and nuances - accordingly help in training the team on new reporting requirements by UK HMRC.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
.Should be a Commerce Graduate.Meaningful work experience in UK Corporate and Indirect taxation..Excellent analytical skills and Corporate tax background.Proficient user of Excel.Good communication skills, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (in English).Analytically & academically soundPreferred qualifications
.Prior experience in Insurance Industry will be an added advantage.Word and PowerPoint knowledge
