The role involves designing test cases, executing test plans, and documenting results. The role also demands gaining understanding of Sycamore products and clinical domain knowledge.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute manual and / Or automated test cases for software applications.Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Validate compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, HIPAA).Collaborate with developers, services, and stakeholders to understand requirements and validate application functionality.Perform defect tracking and reporting using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.Execute SQL queries to validate database integrity.Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and execution logs.Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability and reliability.Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in testing and recommend process improvements.Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide testability and product quality feedback.Document test plans, test cases and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing sessions.Understand Sycamore Products end to end and get trained / onboarded to work across any / all Sycamore’s productsEssential ExperienceDemonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent analysis skills with tenacious attention to detail.Agile Testing, Testing Lifecycle knowledgeWorking with any Test Management Tools like HP ALM, Jira , Xray, Zephyr , IBM RationalDesired Experienceyears of working experience with at least one or more year(s) implementing or testing applications in the clinical research / trials domain.Software development experienceAutomation using Java / Selenium, Python , Cypress, Playwright is a plus , Bdd / Cucumber is a plusRobotframework , JMeter knowledge is a plusKnowledge of File storage solutions & Cloud concepts is a plus
