About the Role :

The Peri-Operative Unit at Canberra Hospital is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment encompassing Day of Surgery Admissions, 20 state-of-the-art Operating Theatres, Post Anaesthetic Care, and a 12-bed Extended Day Surgery Unit. With surgical specialties ranging from trauma and orthopaedics to neurosurgery, cardiothoracic, and paediatrics, the unit delivers complex procedures for local and regional patients. Our nurses are highly skilled professionals who provide patient-centred, evidence-based care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, supported by expert educators and clinical leaders.
