Role Description
This is a full-time Pune based role as the Vice President of Engineering / India Site Leader, Sitting on our Leadership team, leading the R&D Center of Excellence (COE) is a critical leadership role responsible for product roadmap delivery, operational excellence, and overall success of the local Engineering team. This position involves fostering a culture of innovation, driving research initiatives, managing resources, and ensuring alignment with the company's broader Product Strategy and Vision. The Site Leader will lead a multidisciplinary team and act as a key liaison between the India team and other Engineering Leadership Team peers. This role requires a leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, comprehensive understanding of the SaaS platform business, and the ability to inspire and drive success.
Essential Functions
Product Development : Accountable for team’s productivity and delivery of product roadmap from an R&D center of excellence. Manage cost, time, and risk for each product. Deliver high-quality products and services on schedule and within budget. Recommend and implement governance processes. Identify operational efficiencies and bottlenecks across operations.
Strategy and Innovation : Lead business transformation and build new teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance technology and processes. Act as a technology evangelist and change catalyst, simplifying business processes and delivering measurable benefits with innovative solutions.
People Management : Understand the India talent market. Hire, grow, and retain top talent. Lead cross-functional teams and ensure performance meets goals. Provide strong leadership, develop and monitor individual and team performance goals, and coach and mentor senior leaders to drive major change initiatives.
Culture Building : Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Adapt and demonstrate company culture. Create a sustainable dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and high performance among team members.
Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships with global leaders. Position India as a strategic talent market. Work closely with functional leaders in NA and other locations to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
