The Market Data Services (MDS) team aims to provide a robust and efficient service for every end user requiring market data, spread across 43 countries. The MDS Centre of Excellence set up provides support to manage the massive vendor perimeter of market data providers, exchanges, rating agencies, brokers and many more, managing the entire market data process from front to back including relationship management, procurement, advice, project management, installation and support
Scope :
The team for MDS Demand Management function handles data requests and inventory management through market data inventory system, Market Data Manager (MDM). The function is responsible for data quality checks and governance around market data users and contracts, globally. The team works in shifts to support all the regions.

Your key responsibilities
User Demand Management :
Provide a central point of contact for moves, adds and changes for market data accessRaise and ensure business line approval of costs for each requestHandle end-user access requests and perform user access provisioning controlsTracking of all user information and service changes within the market data databaseFinancial Management :
Month end governance – accurate and transparent allocations of market data spendMonthly analysis of account balances and resolving variancesCoordinating with sourcing to manage purchase orders and invoices for market dataRun interfaces with market data vendor entitlement systems and other sources(i.e. Refinitiv’s DACS, Bloomberg EMRS systems)Update market data pricing catalogue based on contractual termsCreate and process monthly business allocation journalsDistribution of monthly reports to Business partnersYour skills and experience
Research oriented and process driven with strong analytical and financial skillsAttention to detail with strong written and oral skillsAdaptable to new environment and able to work under pressureUse of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint to a high standardKnowledge of market data including DACS and MDSL MDM is preferredAccounting knowledge – including pass through cost center accounting, financial forecasting and planning is preferred3 years minimum experience in a Banking environmentMust have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in EnglishIndependent self-starter, customer focused with good interpersonal skillsResult-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced and pressured environmentGood knowledge of investment banking businesses and financial marketsHow we’ll support you
