Job description Vedant Finserv, a high-growth, Client-centric, AMFI-awarded boutique financial services firm with ₹400+ Cr AUM, is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Business Development Manager – Insurance to lead our insurance vertical.
This role is critical to expanding our insurance solutions across life, health, and general insurance for HNIs and NRIs. Success in this role means building strong institutional relationships, identifying client protection gaps, and closing high-quality insurance deals in a compliant and ethical manner.
Responsibilities
Build and manage a robust pipeline of insurance leads (life, health)
Conduct need analysis, design insurance solutions, and pitch to prospects across geographies
Maintain relationships with insurers, TPAs, underwriters, and service partners
Ensure 100% compliance with IRDAI and AMFI guidelines
Work closely with the Client Partner and Financial Planning teams to integrate insurance in holistic plans
Track policy renewals, claims, servicing, and drive persistency metrics
Maintain MIS dashboards and prepare monthly business reports
Qualifications
Comfortable working in a performance-driven, ethical, client-first culture
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA / Finance / Insurance certifications preferred
)Minimum 2-5 years of experience in insurance sales (agency / broker / bankassurance / IFA channels
)Proven track record of closing complex case
Strong interpersonal and communication skill
Understanding of IRDAI regulations and insurance products (term, ULIP, annuity, health indemnity, etc.
