The Strategic Programs department focuses on the Bank's transformational priorities, improve its execution excellence, increase momentum on key signature initiatives to achieve the desired growth and deliver on the GPS strategy and its aspirations. Strategic Programs also plays a critical role in identifying business opportunities and its realization through strategically important projects across the bank.
About the Role
We are in search of a candidate who will work closely with the Program Lead to ensure the successful execution of a large project. This role involves coordinating various project activities, tracking progress, and ensuring that project milestones are met. The Project Associate will also be responsible for maintaining project documentation, facilitating communication among team members, and assisting in resolving project issues.
This role requires a strong analytical skillset to analyze project data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. The Candidate will work closely with internal & external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget, and meet the bank's strategic objectives.
This is a role with a high degree of visibility and interface with senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- .Assist the Program Lead in planning, executing, and closing project phases, including scope, timelines, milestones, execution strategy and resource allocation.
- .Coordinate project tasks and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- .Monitor project schedules and report any deviations.
- .Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project plans.
- .Prepare and distribute regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- .Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- .Schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items.
- .Identify and track project risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- .Support the execution of project tasks, track progress, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- .Communicate with project stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- .Collect and analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- .Generate regular project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- .Conduct risk assessments and support the development of mitigation strategies.
- .Leverage project management and analytics software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Role Proficiencies : Experience
.Experience banking domain and / or experience in driving change management with experience of implementation of large-scale transformation / business projects.Experience in project / program management techniques and methods, change management.Skills / Abilities
.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills..Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Confluence, JIRA) and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)..Excellent organizational and time management skills..Strong communication and interpersonal skills..Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment..Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy..Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights..Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work..Takes initiative and is proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions..Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to adapt to changing project requirements.Skills Required
