Cradlepoint is looking for an Engineer - Transmission to join our team as a Domain Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for securing technical capabilities within our 24 / 7 Automated Operations. This includes diagnosis, providing fast domain support, routine resource fulfillment, and offering field technical assistance for our transmission systems.
What You Will Do : Key Responsibilities
- Work in a 24x7 environment , providing continuous support.
- Support customers over email and phone , ensuring effective communication.
- Possess sound knowledge of Microwave Technology .
- Be responsible for 2nd Line troubleshooting of Microwave systems , specifically the Cradlepoint 6xxx Series .
- Have sound knowledge of Cradlepoint Mini-link 6300, 6600 Series & Mini-link TN AMM series .
- Possess SO-EM / ENM hands-on experience .
- Perform Software upgrade processes for Mini-link 6300, 6600 Series & Mini-link TN AMM series.
- Demonstrate QoS parameter knowledge for Mini-link 6300, 6600 Series & Mini-link TN AMM series.
- Handle Ethernet alarms and parameters with their troubleshooting processes.
- Raise and update tickets in the relevant tool for all issues handled / worked upon.
- Report daily issues handled / escalated in the form of daily shift reports.
- Ensure that issues are handled within the right timeframes as per the SLA / Commitments .
- Possess good knowledge of SLA / WLA .
- Be proficient in preventive activities using available performance reports from Microwave NMS.
- Be skilled in customer handling and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) identification .
You Will Bring : Required Qualifications
Education : Degree / Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication, or equivalent.Experience : 3-7 years of hands-on experience in a 2nd Level Engineer - functional role .Good Technical Knowledge of Microwave Technology , preferably Cradlepoint 6K series.Transmission or ENM experience preferred.Skills Required
