Profile Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA / QC Civil Engineer with a proven track record in  Electrical  substation construction, overhead transmission lines (OHTL), underground cable works, and building infrastructure projects . The ideal candidate should hold or be eligible for SEC approval and possess the ability to enforce quality standards, ensure compliance with codes and specifications, conduct inspections, manage QA / QC documentation, and drive continuous improvement in line with project requirements.

Candidates with prior Saudi Arabia or GCC project experience will be given strong preference.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage quality documentation, including manuals, national / international standards, client specifications, ITPs, and technical data sheets.

Monitor and inspect civil construction activities across all stages, from raw material acceptance through to final testing, commissioning, and handover .

Develop and implement quality procedures, inspection checklists, and method statements related to civil works.

Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective / preventive actions for civil-related non-conformities.

Ensure compliance with Project Quality Plans (PQP), ITPs, PTS, MOS, checklists, and applicable codes / standards .

Conduct internal quality audits to verify compliance with QMS requirements.

Coordinate closely with construction managers, project managers, vendors, third-party inspectors, and the TQM team.

Provide technical guidance to the construction team to enhance quality performance and compliance.

Review and prepare QA / QC documentation and ensure complete handover of QA / QC dossiers at project close-out.

Monitor and report KPIs related to Quality Costs, NCRs, lessons learned, and trends in project quality performance.

Review technical submittals to ensure compliance with quality and specification requirements prior to approval.

Maintain detailed QA / QC logs and records, including NCR logs, inspection logs, calibration records, proactive logs, and lessons learned .

Interface across multi-disciplinary engineering functions and ensure QA / QC deliverables are integrated effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 8+ years of QA / QC experience in Electrical substation, including OHTL and underground cable works .

Experience with SEC or Aramco projects is mandatory or strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of civil QA / QC procedures, inspection techniques, and material verification methods.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 : 2015 (QMS) standards; certification as an Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor is preferred.

Proficient in interpreting civil drawings, specifications, and technical standards .

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of QA / QC experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably with SEC or Aramco approvals , and be capable of driving compliance with quality standards, managing inspections, and ensuring full adherence to project requirements.

The role requires excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015 (QMS) , international standards, and civil QA / QC procedures, along with proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality results. Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects is strongly preferred.
