The Global Client Services (GCS) team supports Grant Thornton in winning international engagements, facilitating cross border service integration between GTIL member firms, and mobilizing talent throughout the international network. GCS manages our International Business Center which is comprised of professionals who act as ambassadors to foster cross-border opportunities for international clients by linking member firms with resources and expertise within the Grant Thornton network. In addition to facilitating the delivery of international business, our team provides coaching on global processes and protocols to ensure the adoption of best practices within the network.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Coordinate International / Cross-Border Work :
- Provide responsive and high-quality support to international business development efforts and pursuit teams.
- Request information from member firms to complete inbound and outbound global opportunities.
- Maintain best practices and transparency across member firms involved in each pursuit.
- Manage basic project management tasks with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Support collaboration with professionals from GTIL (Global Tax International Liaison), IBSF (International Business Support Function), NCT (Network Capabilities Team), IBCD (International Business Center Directors), and ILD (International Liaison Directors).
- Contribute to priority projects aimed at enhancing the pursuit of international opportunities (e.g., strategic targeting).
- Learn to use OneView and other technologies to track international client targets and business opportunities.
Support International Business and Relationships :
Assist in developing learning materials to help client-facing professionals understand and apply global policies.Raise awareness of GCS support capabilities among US pursuit teams and member firms, both domestically and internationally.Build positive relationships with network professionals and act as a liaison to foster collaboration on cross-border opportunities.Strengthen communication and coordination with GTIL member firms on proposal opportunities.Other Responsibilities :
Work closely with the US Global Client Services team to support internal strategic projects and initiatives.Assist with the implementation of the GTUS international strategy and contribute to key initiatives.Participate in infrastructure-strengthening projects to enhance service line capabilities within the GTIL member firm network.Collaborate with team members to explore and improve efficiencies through the adoption of new technologies.QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : MBA or equivalent in business, accounting, marketing, communications, or a related field.Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience with an accounting and / or professional services firm (marketing experience is a plus).Skills :High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Foreign language skills and experience applying foreign language use abroad are a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn on the job.Ability to work independently and autonomously on assignments and initiatives.Culturally sensitive with the ability to demonstrate agile, collaborative cross-cultural communication skills.Ability to think strategically and tackle new problems as they arise.Flexible work hours may be required to accommodate international team members due to time zone differences.Preferred :Working knowledge of international client services and service delivery.Experience in marketing or business development.Exceptional oral and written communication skills with experience in developing business-to-business communications, proposals, and marketing materials.Experience in event planning, promotion, and management, including virtual webinars and conferences.CORE VALUES :
