SECTION II : PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To execute all safety related policies at the Site, with the objective to identify, resolve / mitigate or escalate key risks as per overall safety policies, regulations & standards

SECTION III : KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE

Responsibilities

Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Follow established safety policies, processes, standard operating procedures and provide support in the interpretation and implementation of safety related policies to the line management
• Assist in the implementation of new initiatives / projects as per the established policies to meet the future requirements of the site
• Participate in the first and third-party health and safety audit systems for their designated area / plant, in collaboration with Lead Safety
• Participate in external industry bodies, trade association, global forums and keep self abreast with leading practices and trends in order to contribute towards continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures

Education Qualifications

Bachelors in Engineering / Science in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation / Chemistry

Experience (Must Have & Good To Have)

3-7 years of experience in process industry site operations / maintenance with 2-3 years of experience of handling HSE
