Total Salary Range : $265,607 to $358,114 (pro rata for part-time positions) excluding Attraction and Retention Incentive
Base Salary : $188,151 to $254,198 (pro rata for part-time). The starting salary will be negotiated based on the candidate's experience and expertise.
Additional Allowances : Includes a Private Practice Scheme Allowance and an on-call allowance (17.4% of base salary plus Private Practice Allowance).
Superannuation : 12% of the base salary.

About the Role :
The general medicine staff specialist is responsible for providing clinical care and leadership within the general medicine department of North Canberra Hospital (NCH) and will be guided by current evidence based medical practice, to deliver quality and safe patient centred care. The position holder is expected to operate within the Public Sector Management Act (1994), the ACT Public Service Code of Conduct and the professional requirements specified by the appointee’s Specialist College.
