Job Description :

PHYSICSWALLAH LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our growing finance team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external Process invoices and payment requests accurately and efficiently.

• Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage travel and expense reimbursements.
• Handle petty cash management.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with GST and TDS compliance is a plus.
