IT Project Manager

Job Description :

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Project Manager.

In this role, you will :

1. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

2. Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT software projects to ensure they align with project objectives and timelines.

3. Support the Project Manager in tracking project progress, updating schedules, and maintaining project documentation.

4. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings, ensuring adherence to agile principles.

5. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify project deliverables.

6. Identify and escalate potential risks or issues affecting project timelines or deliverables.

7. Support the preparation of project reports and updates for stakeholders.

8. Ensure all project artifacts are stored and maintained for future reference.

9. Assist in fostering an agile and collaborative project environment.

10. Create project plan, stakeholder management plan, RAID Log, cost plan, implementation plan.

11. Close monitoring & control of project progress and updating of the required metrices in timely manner.

12. Drive end to end project starting from inception to project closure. Reporting to senior stakeholders

13. Manage & drive Agile Sprint ceremonies, understanding and implementation of SAFe

14. Negotiate, coach and mentor team as and when required during the project Lifecyle

15. Reporting of project status / risk & issues in timely & business-friendly language

16. Keep all the process related documents updated as per the organization guidelines

17. Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum practices and principles.

18. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

19. Assist the product owner with backlog grooming and prioritization.

20. Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress.

21. Ensure the team is fully functional and productive.

22. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

23. Promote and facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.

24. Track and communicate team progress and metrics to stakeholders.

25. Support the team in achieving high levels of performance and quality.

Requirements :

1. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements :

2. 2-15 years of experience in IT with 5+ years in project management. Should have solid understanding on SDLC & Agile, SAFe Project management methodologies

3. Sound knowledge on the RnR of scrum master and working experience of the same.

4. Hands on experience on project management tools like MPP, Clarity, XLS, JIRA etc

5. Agile / Safe certification will be added advantage.

6. Should have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

7. Self-motivated and should be able to work independently.

8. Strong communication and negotiation skills

9. High level knowledge of any latest technologies (AWS / GCP / Azure / API) will be preferred

10. Scrum Master certified
