Key Responsibilities :
The Placement Manager for Online Courses will be responsible for coordinating and managing all
placement activities for students enrolled in online courses. This role involves building relationships with
industry partners, organizing placement drives, and ensuring that students are well-prepared for job opportunities. The Placement Manager will work closely with students, instructors, and employers to facilitate successful placements.
Industry Partnerships : Develop and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry professionals to create placement opportunities.
o Collaborate with industry partners to understand their hiring needs and align them with student
skills and qualifications.
Placement Drives :
o Organize and manage placement drives, career fairs, and recruitment events.
o Coordinate interviews, assessments, and selection processes between students and potential
employers.
Student Preparation :
o Provide career counselling and guidance to students, helping them to identify career goals
and develop job search strategies.
o Conduct workshops, seminars, and mock interviews to enhance students' employability skills.
o Assist students in preparing resumes, cover letters, and other job application materials.
Data Management :
o Maintain a database of student placements, employer contacts, and job opportunities.
o Track placement statistics and prepare reports for management.
Collaboration :
o Work closely with course instructors to understand the curriculum and ensure it aligns with
industry requirements.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to promote placement success stories and highlight the
value of the online courses.
Feedback and Improvement :
o Gather feedback from employers on the performance of placed students and share it with the
academic team to improve course content.
o Continuously evaluate and improve placement processes and strategies
Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
Proven experience in placement coordination, career counselling, or a related field, preferably within
the education sector.
Strong network of industry contacts and experience in building partnerships.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using career services management software and tools.
Knowledge of current job market trends and hiring practices.
