What will you do?
Operational Excellence
- This role will lead the end-to-end responsibility of the Record to Report Team, Managing entire Financial operations and accounting related to Contract breweries and ensuring accuracy, integrity and compliance of financial records and reports. The incumbent will lead a team of professionals to execute various R2R functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, financial close, and financial reporting.
- Manage issue escalations, day-to-day issue resolution (standard and complex), and monitoring action plans
Financial Close Process :
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of financial statements.Review journal entries, accruals, and other accounting transactions to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.Reconciliation and Analysis :
Manage the reconciliation process for balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and prepaid expenses.Implement best practices for account reconciliation and documentation, ensuring adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.Financial Reporting and Compliance :
Prepare, review financial schedules in accordance with regulatory requirements & company policies.Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address audit inquiries and findings.Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring complianceProcess Improvement and Optimization :
Identify opportunities to streamline R2R processes, enhance controls, and optimize resource allocationLead / participate in projects to implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automationsDevelop, maintain process documentation, SOPs, & internal controls to support a strong control environment.The incumbent will collaborate cross-functionally to implement process improvements, enhance controls, and drive operational efficiencies.Ensure high quality service delivery that satisfy the SLAs and meet productivity, efficiency and key performance indicator (KPI) targetsStakeholder Management :
Collaborate closely with other teams / team leads within the shared service center and business counterparts in head office, manufacturing units and sales offices to understand business needsWho will you work with?
You will be supervising and interacting directly with the RTR team. The role involves cross collaboration with all other SSC functions like PTP, OTC and Service Delivery. The job will also entail frequent interactions and collaboration with the finance leadership team and other functional heads.
Education Qualifications : Chartered Accountant / CA Inter / MCom / CMA
Experience requirements :
8 years of overall experience, out of which at least 3 years of experience in managing Record to Report Process in a Shared Service Centre environment.Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in IndAS and IFRS.Experience with SAP, financial consolidation tools, and Microsoft ExcelExperience within a progressive Global Business Services / GCC / business services operating model is preferred.Able to make effective business decisions in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.Understanding of business drivers, systems and processes, including root cause analysis
