Position

: Senior Technical Support Executive

Job Objective

JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined workflows and reducing the usage of email and paper.

Job Responsibilities

Assist JiBe’s Support Team to provide support to vessels / remote offices related to IT hardware / software for office / vessel users.

Translation of business complexities or issues received to internal functional subgroups and vice versa.

Troubleshooting and diagnosing of nondeified / underlying root cause of the issues

Manage user administration for JiBe Internal access rights along with On-boarding of new client's user base.

Training ship / office staff on how to control and minimize the communication cost.

Ability to understand the client’s business requirements

Follow-ups within and inter departmental for internal and external issues.

Manage, Create and train internal & external employees on various mechanisms of self-help contents.

Report compilation and forwarding to management

Knowledge in Ship Networks and Windows Administration is required in order to help solving on-board issues remotely.

Day to day follow-ups with the vessel and office on IT hardware and software issues.

Handling the JiBe’s Implementation team, include client’s configuration and training.

Ability to work and prioritizing and managing many open issues and tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Any Graduate / B.E. or equivalent with minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in any ERP software or IT company or Maritime Ship Management companies .

Team handling & management experience is must

Excellent English Writing skills with grip on non-verbal (email) communication

Excellent typing skills . Problem solving skills; Ability to prioritize tasks.

Self-motivated, independent and meticulous with an eye for details.

Shipping knowledge will be preferred

Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

Basic knowledge of networking & cloud services.

Good memory of how software and operating systems work.

Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.

Ability to work well as a team player. Strong customer focus.
