Application Managed Services Support Engineer L2 (Java)
We are looking for an Application Managed Services Support Engineer L2 (Java) who will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and support of enterprise core applications.
The role requires expertise in monitoring system performance, handling incidents, managing deployments, and ensuring application reliability.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Java, APIs, Microservices, and databases, along with experience in automation and Responsibilities :
- Perform system monitoring and health checks for servers and services to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely incident resolution.
- Develop and implement bug fixes for critical system issues.
- Manage application deployments and releases for new features and enhancements.
- Understand and work with design workflows and data flows across applications.
- Build operational scripts to handle business scenarios or provide temporary workarounds until permanent fixes / features are implemented.
- Support activities such as Disaster Recovery (DR) management, reporting, and generating system Skills :
- Strong knowledge of Java / Spring Boot.
- Good working knowledge of SQL (Oracle / SQL Server).
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift or container platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, etc.
- Exposure to IBM product stack is an added advantage.
