The North Canberra Hospital (NCH) Diabetes Service collaborates with Endocrinologists, Diabetes Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Dietitians, Nurses, Medical Officers, General Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and people with diabetes and their support person to provide a team approach to care. Clients seen include adults with diabetes on the wards and outpatient clinic, providing individual and group appointments.
This nursing role requires the ability to provide appropriate skilled clinical assessment for clients with diabetes across NCH Health Campus and provides an excellent foundation in diabetes education.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible professionally to the Credentialed Diabetes Educator and Clinical Nurse Consultant of the NCH Diabetes Service.
